The 2019 Season of the Oakland Municipal Band starts this Thursday, July 4, at the Edoff Memorial Bandstand in Lakeside Park! Once again we will be presenting exciting concerts by some of the Bay Area’s finest professional musicians, playing a variety of music in many styles. We are starting with a salute to America.

We are grateful to those of you who have responded to our postal mail appeal for donations. These concerts are funded entirely by donations, and your support is vital for the health of the series. Those of you who have not donated may do so on our website, but if you donate by check or in person at the concerts, we pay no fees for handling the donation, other than the postage for the acknowledgement which goes out promptly. Donation envelopes will be available at the concerts.

We especially need to broaden our base of donors. You can help by bringing your friends to the concerts, so that they may be inspired to help us present them.
